It’s cold in the northern hemisphere! Make some hot chocolate, and share a blanket on the couch this evening. Enjoy each other’s company. If you’ve got a working fireplace, use it!

Date Night! After dinner do something fun like a scavenger hunt, or geocaching. Anything that gets you out together talking and laughing. There are plenty of phone apps out there for things like this (e.g. SCVNGR).

Cut loose from work and be home on time today. There’s nothing at the office as important as your wife.

Tornado watches and flash flood warnings in central Texas overnight and this morning. Make sure that you keep your family safe by being aware of conditions and  making sure your wife is aware too. Have a plan for emergency situations.

After dinner tonight, do the dishes, pick up stuff around the house, and make her some hot chocolate.

Good day to bring home flowers for no reason except that you love her.
